Meet David Reparsky
David Reparsky, the skilled craftsman behind Spring Lake Sharpening, brings precision, passion, and a love of community to every blade he sharpens. After spending six years on the road as a truck driver and drone pilot, living out of his truck, traveling the country, eating at countless restaurants, and taking in all the sights, David decided it was time to put down roots.
The Jersey Shore—specifically Spring Lake—stole his heart (his girlfriend likes to think it was her, but everyone knows the pizza here played a big part).
Turning his passion for knife sharpening into a thriving business, David enjoys helping others experience the joy of tools that work like new. When he’s not perfecting blades, you can find him cycling around town, chatting it up in the sauna at The Atlantic Club, or tinkering with his latest project, like repairing RC cars.

Can I just stop-in or do I need to schedule an appointment?
At this time, we are performing services at our home and require appointments to be sure we are there to accommodate you. You can see what appointment times are available by checking our calendar here. Pick the day/time of your choice and enter your details. If you would like to chat or have a quote prior, please let us know in your notes and we will give you a call!
How long is the turnaround?
Depending on the day/time you drop off, your tools will be ready same or next day. We will let you know at time of your drop off when they will be ready!
What do you use to sharpen? Are you using a machine?
All of our sharpening is done completely custom and free-hand. No quick grinding here! We are getting out nicks, creating new bevels, and restoring your tools to better than new condition.
